Alcoholism (Also called: Alcohol dependence )



 The most mature, sophisticated drinking is not harmful. However, approximately 17.6 million adults in the United States are alcoholics or alcohol problems. Alcoholism is a disease of the four main features: Desire - the need for a strong drink Loss of control - is not able to stop drinking once you start on Physical dependence - Withdrawal symptoms, such as preventing nausea after drinking, as the sweat or shakiness Patience - is required in order to drink a large amount of alcohol "high" to get Network between a number of serious accidents. Heavy drinking increases the risk of some cancers. It is the liver, brain and other organs can cause damage. It may cause birth defects.
